- Profile data: newsroom/organisation, country, journalism discipline, and optional bio
- Course data: enrolment records, quiz responses, progress, and certificates issued
- Payment data: processed via third-party payment gateways; we do not store card details
- Communications: messages sent through our community forums and support channels
We also collect limited technical data automatically: IP address (anonymised after 30 days), browser type, pages visited, and referring URL — used solely for security and improving the platform.

- To create and manage your account and course enrolments
- To issue certificates of completion

- To send course recommendations and platform updates (you may opt out at any time)
